The Lift 6 Cosmécanique™ is a technologically advanced device that recreates and improves upon one of the most revolutionary facial massage techniques in the history of skin care. A French massage text from 1907 describes a treatment invented by a Dr Jacquet, which included a vigorous, repetitive mobilization of the facial skin. Nearly a century ago, this method revolutionized skin care. Nevertheless, this method had certain disadvantages for both the therapist (fatigue and decreased finger sensitivity) and the client (discomfort and inadequate finger pressure).

Today, LPG Systems has re-invented 'le pince de Jacquet' using a revolutionary machine, the Lift 6 Cosmécanique™. This technique avoids the above disadvantages, while retaining all the positive benefits. The fibroblast cells, which naturally produce collagen and elastin, slow down with age, resulting in lines, wrinkles and lax skin. Lift 6 Cosmécanique™ treatments stimulate these cells and this results in an increase in the body's own natural collagen and elastin. Lift 6 Cosmécanique™ tones the skin (elastin) and strengthens its natural support (collagen), thus improving the overall appearance and quality of the skin.

The Lift 6 Cosmécanique™ has three computerized programs with nine levels of intensity, to suit each client. With various treatment heads, access to every part of the face neck and décolleté is achieved. Maneuvers are designed to stimulate, tighten and rejuvenate the skin and facial contours. Clients undergo a series of 30 minute treatments, using a combination of the three programs for congested, loose or wrinkled skin.

A thorough 'work-out' is performed on each square centimeter of skin, resulting in a marked increase in circulation, temperature elevation and a sensation of tingling, causing a 'plumping up' of the treated skin. A series of treatments is applied with increasing intensity over a period of weeks. The end result of such vigorous stimulation is a decrease in lax facial skin and an improved, more radiant complexion.

The flaps on either side of the chamber apply a rhythmic pinching to the skin, thus stimulating the fibroblasts and causing more collagen and elastin to be laid down in the skin and the subcutaneous tissues.
